The doorway scene
Episode 1 runs 1:04. It starts with the reunion on the doorstep: she answers in green lingerie under a sheer pink robe, holding a bottle of wine, with her stepson in the background. The scene then moves to the kitchen for a strained conversation. Lingerie under the robe is the most that’s shown.
The opener lands the premise fast and then slows down for the tension, which is the right shape for a five-part story. If the kitchen scene leaves you curious, the free second episode is there to settle it.
